Introductory workshop and project period with the focus on technical expressions in the meeting point between the print media and the ceramic media. The course focuses on problematic within the 2 & 3 dimensional media and the combination /transition between these. The starting workshop with Paul Scott(UK) will give different approaches to the "Print" within both the ceramic and the printmaking media. This is the basis for individual experimental work and projects. It will be possible to work with the use of ready-mades (tiles, plates etc) and individual works in clay.
HMS course in in the use of different dry ceramic powders and firering is part of the workshop
Presentation of work/sketches in relation to theme.
Arbeidsform:
Workshop, demonstration, lectures, individual work in combination with tutoring and guidance. In-class review with presentation of each project.
