Mikkel Bogh will have a lecture on color, and new aspects on the subject. The lecture is thursday 10.2 at 10.00 i the lecture room at the Academy. It is in connection with the book launch in Rom 8 at 18.00 the evening before. Mikkel Bogh has contributed to Jon Arne Mogstads book, and will also be present at the book launch.
Mikkel Bogh (født 1963) er rektor ved Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademis Billedkunstskoler. Han er uddannet kunsthistoriker ved Københavns Universitet, tidligere ansat som lektor ved Moderne Kultur, Københavns Universitet. Har publiceret en række artikler og katalogtekster om dansk og international samtidskunst og ældre kunst. Har siden slutningen af 1980'erne virket som underviser, kunstkritiker, kurator og forsker. Bogh er redaktør af kunstmagasinet Sum, som udgives af Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi.

Rector, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen
Mikkel Bogh was born in Copenhagen in 1963. He is an art historian and art critic. In 1995–2000, he was associated with the Department of Literature and the Department of Art and Cultural Studies at Copenhagen University. In 2000, he became a lecturer in modern culture and was made head of department in 2003. In 2005, he became the rector of the Schools of Visual Art at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In his articles and books he writes about art theory and European and American art from the 17th century until today. His most recent publications are the anthology Europas andre, Frygten for de fremmende i europeisk kultur (2005) and Per Bak Jensen: The Unseen Image (2006).
