Drawing as record - dark traces, with Andrew Taggart

A one-week workshop exploring different approaches to drawing, based on set situations, personal experience, or fictitious content, as well as building an awareness of contemporary forms of the discipline. Drawing from direct experience and situations of observation and interpretation, students are encouraged to experiment with the medium as well as reflect on the content that defines their individual processes. The emphasis of this workshop is on personal production as a means to establish an individual voice within the discipline.

Andrew Taggart is a Bergen-based artist who completed the MA at KHIB in May 2010
