Introduction course in the History of Photography II
with Christine Hansen
The course will concentrate on the history of photography’s major currents from its inception to the present day. The class will especially discuss modernism and postmodernism in photography and will attempt to contextualize the production of art photographs with relevant historical and critical writings.

Required book: Steve Edwards, Photography: A Very Short Introduction, Oxford University Press, 2006
In addition we will read smaller articles
