«Pictogram-me»

«Pictogram-me» started in the autumn 2011. During three weeks it took place a course in «pictogrammatics» for bachelorstudents in visual communication. Students should learn about methods for userinvolvement and about developing pictograms, and we should learn more about the challenges they met and be inspired by different solutions. The course was based on lectures, workshops, sketching, drawing, dancing, discussions, presentations and not at least collaboration with The Salvatore Army and homeless people in the city of Bergen. We involved assosiate professor and antrophologist Mary-Bente Bringslid from the University of Bergen and the dancer Hege Østby, ex. Carte Blanche, amongst others. The course was based on a one week course where the students learned about facilitating and how to develope ideas for new ways of involving different user-groups.
