2D method: patterns and ornamentation on surface
Introduction to generating ideas for patterns to "surface design", where the student will aquire basic functional and aesthetic understanding of 2D method, patterns and ornamentation on surface.
We will be working with:
Various visualisation techniques
Building reports with focus on outline, surface and texture
Distribution on surface, rhythm, scale, form and intervals
The use of references; analyse and transform a visual material for one`s own design.
