Art, Technology & Urban Space: workshop with Vibeke Jensen
A one week workshop/seminar with artist Vibeke Jensen (New York/Norway) exploring ways in which artists utilise digital technologies in relation to urban space and investigating the impact of surveillance and other "invasive' technologies that radically change notions of the public / the private and affect they way we use public spaces. Vibeke Jensen was educated as an architect in Trondheim and London and has been living and working as an artist in New York since the early nineties. Her installations, video works and photographs have been exhibited internationally and she has received commissions for large-scale public artworks. Workform:
Group discussions, presentation of individual projects within the group, film & video screening, discussion of texts & individual tutorials.
