BODY STUFF
Two weeks of workshop (22.-26.2. and 19.-23.4.2010) on the physical, the body with Agnes Nedregaard, Kurt Johannessen and Karen Kipphoff
The workshop is built up in the following way
A) Historical, theoretical part
Introduction to Performance Art (screening of video, lectures, artist talk, seminal texts) week 8; Lecture Kurt Johannessen week 8 or 16; Lecture Agnes Nedregaard week 16; Lecture Karen Kipphoff week 8 and 16
B) Practical part
Physical work with the exploration of space, perception, body with Agnes Nedregaard in week 16. Some physical work with objects in week 8 Karen Kipphoff
C) Conceptual
Find out by trying and discussing with group and tutors how to further develop and integrate the performative aspects of your work. Some personal tutorials with Agnes, Kurt and Karen in week 8 or 16 might be available. Group critique planned for Friday, April 23rd.
A precise timeplan will be sent out by mail to participants by the end of January.
