Communication design for web
From a professional point of view, web design is team work. As a designer one needs to know the different media specific conditions and conventions. The course focuses on the visual design of a message for creating good and efficient communication on the web. Through working with realistic approaches and assignments, the students will have knowledge about creating solutions both functional and visually attractive, where form and content melt together into a communicative unity.
Introduction to Dreamweaver and basic introduction to html-coding will give the students basic technical knowledge to be able to design web sites.
The lectures aim at giving the students an understanding the complexity in working with web design.
Workform:
Lectures, practical work with tutoring. ”Hands-on” introduction to soft ware programs, individual tutoring. Group work, analysis, discussions. Several different lecturers.
Prequalifications:
basic knowledge of Photoshop.
