Furniture design - construction

Project period, furniture design.

The assignment intends to provide the students with an understanding of sizes, proportions and basic ergonomics through their development, in full scale, of a piece of seating furniture. The students will present their results in the form of a prototype during an in-class review on the last day of the project period.

The students are expected to evaluate the course at KHiB web.

Workform:

Individual work on drawings, models and prototypes in class rooms and workshops.

Individual tutoring.

Prequalifications:

Approved safety course at workshops, Marken 37.

The course starts 23/02/2010 / Week 08, and ends 12/03/2010 / Week 10
