Furniture design - prototypes
Part 2: Project oriented, individual work in classroom and in workshops. Build prototypes. Based on drawings developed in previous project period we will now build a prototype in full scale. Introduction to processes and production methods in furniture industry as well as methods for building a prototype. Students will get to know materials and techniques relevant for the project. Documentation of the process from idea to prototype with digital pictures with a view to project presentation. Concluding review after project period in project room, Marken 37, Friday 6 November.2009. Evaluation on KHiB web.

Independent project work with tutoring. Prototype in full scale, presenting result in common review. Passed
Prequalifications:
Passed safety courses at the workshops. Passed project period "Furniture design, idea and model".
The course starts 29/09/2009 / Week 40, and ends 06/11/2009 / Week 45
