Illustration - character
The course will through lectures and practical assignments give basic introduction to illustration and the making of a character.
We meet them everywhere - the characters: In picture books, animations, games, advertising and in the theatre. Various types to different settings, to express different ideas, to pass on various messages. In this course we will focus on the work behind the character, on idea and the development of a character.
The assignments are to be solved using several materials and techniques, manual and digital.
Basic course in Photoshop.
The animation course in week 4 is based on material developed in this course.
