Load-bearing constructions
Introduction to subject area. Basic construction principles, hands-on project work.
The students are introduced to simple, constructive principles and should gain an understanding of how to make use of the material’s qualities in construction work. By minimizing material use, we will see that the relationship between function and material use can give a logical expression of form.
Workform:
Individual and group work.
Constructive principles. Assignments, building models. Tutoring. Review in Prject room, Marken 37. Students are supposed to document their work through pictures and text, and this will be part of the portfolio by term review.
Students can evaluate the course on KHiB web after review.
