Sculpture. Method and idea development. Method as a universal tool.

The course will deal with possibilities and challenges that concern three-dimensional expressions in clay. Both traditional and alternative techniques will be demonstrated during the period. In addition to raising the technical skills of the students, idea development will be taught. Method is a key word in the creative process. A greater insight into the variant contents and patterns of this concept will enable the students to learn by themselves. In other words, the tasks will eventually give each student renewable creative resources through thorough knowledge of one’s own or alternative methods.

The course is mandatory for first year ceramics, but other students can enroll as well.
