TEXTILE CONSTRUCTION / WEAVING
Object: Basic introduction to constructing surfaces by the means of loom.
Content:
Theoretical input. Introduction to different tools, from simple frames to mechanically and digitally controlled flat-weave looms. Emphasis on the mixing of materials and colours where the construction becomes part of the expression in the surface. Lectures on topics related to weaving as an artistic medium.
Workform:
Practical oriented period with lectures, demonstrations and individual tutoring.
