Textile lab
Process oriented course.
Work on own projects in workshop developed to explore possibilities for artistic language in textile materials. Focus on achieving experience, in other words absorption in self elected methods related to textile. Develop material and reference files for coming projects.The course is based on ”Digital tools WEAVE and PRINT”
The period starts with a workshop on developing ideas, based on ”Creative Problem Solving”, to make the students conscious of methodical idea development.
Lecturing on different artists` process. Weaving theory and introduction to print technical topics.
Workform:
Alternate between theory/introduction/tutoring and individual work in workshop.
Requested result:
Documented material presented in final term end review.
Prequalifications:
”Digital tools WEAVE and PRINT” week 37-42 or corresponding course.
The course starts 02/11/2009 / Week 45, and ends 11/12/2009 / Week 50
