The topic "The poetic of the room" indicates the source of inspiration, where we discuss the terms sensiousness and phenomenology in relation to current room design.
What is a inhabited room? We do not live in a world of physical facts, we live in a world inspired by our sense of living and the values we transform to it. This is the most conclussive aspect about our interaction with the world. Poets often describe the merging of the world, the space and the self.
Wallace Stevens expresses the connection between the human being and the space in a very simple way: "I am what surrounds me”.
Noël Arnaud says almost the same thing: ”I am the room in which I am. ”
«The door senses me and hesitates", says the French poet Jean Pellerin, while Raymond Queneau animates the silhouette of Paris: "The roofs of Paris are lying on their backs with their little paws in the air".
