Tutorials 2010 by Ashley Booth
Goal:
Present practical, methodical and theoretical conditions to be able to work with design at a high level - aesthetically, ethically and functionally.
The students will through new ways of thinking develop their disciplines, mainly in the shape of a big individual and experimental project.
The master program require a high degree of independence. Tutoring will play a central role, and the student is supposed to meet with main tutor at least four times per term. Tutoring aims at ensuring professional progression, through constructive, relevant and thorough feedback and discussions.
Content:
Personal tutoring
Professional discussion requires that students prepare for class and meet up on time.
The student tells tutor about the project and it`s development.
Tutoring ensures practical, methodical and theoretical progress through suggesting important choices of directions.
The student will be assessed in relation to professional progress between titorials and in relation to level at the end of the 3 first terms. Assessments will be given by main tutor and another specialist in the field.
Workform:
Group tutoring, individual tutoring
Group presentations, group discussions
Discussions and presentations on methodical, theoretical and visual work
Prequalifications:
MA or scholarship candidate
The course starts 11/01/2010 / Week 02, and ends 30/04/2010 / Week 17
