Workshop with Eva Koch
Eva Koch`s works are divided almost equally between exhibition and works in urban space. She has made permanent decorations and installations where the work`s theme, the specific room and the viewer`s perception is gathered into a whole.
One of her most important sculptural works is the permanent earth sculpture in Esbjerg, made in cooperation with landscape architect Steen Høyer 1993 – 2001.
As for her video installations, VILLAR is a milestone. It is a video project in two parts which partly comprises an interactive installation to 6 projections, and an interactive documentary DVD.
The installation was shown at the 50th Biennale in Vennice in 2003.

Workshop with Eva Koch
The workshop takes place during a period when the sun sets early afternoon. We will take advantage of this and work with the living and luminous picture in town, where the most dominant pictures are advertising posters. I will stress the importance of communication in the artistic process, and hence start the workshop with a common review of all the students` projects.
The workshop will be open for 12 students who are prepared for intensive work. The workshop will cover the whole process from statement of project in spatial relation, production, obtain any permissions, projection tests, technical presentation, documentation and evaluation.
