Bachelor exam – Visual Communication
A longer project period will conclude the BA education. The students will be working on a topic of their choice. Start thinking about a potential problem statement early in the term. Any topic that has not been chosen? Any particular interest that can be used in a design project?
Goal
Primarily, the project period will show what the students have learned during the bachelor education. Many also use this period to aim at higher goals. Through this period, everyone will acquire more experience working systematically on a larger project.
Content
The students will word their own problem statement and project description which have to be approved by their tutor. Through analysis and strategy, a concept is developed which will be carried out both in written and practically. The process is also to be documented. The written part should contain a project description, problem statement, strategy, process, product presentation and a reflection on the student’s own work. Two external examiners and the main tutor will be reviewing the project, and the result is either pass or fail. Both written and practical part are reviewed as a unit, through an oral and a visual presentation in the form of an exhibition. Examiners' feedback will be both oral and in writing. The exam period is concluded by a public review where the examiners present their evaluations to the candidates and the audience. After the exam, the works are presented in a BA exhibition.

The students will be using design methodical methods
Workform:
Individual work and tutoring once a week, and in-class review.
Medium:
Students choose medium and plane according to the assignment.

Approved term evaluation, 5th term
