Classic intaglio printing
Introduction to classic techniques for intaglio printing, etching, aquatint and drypoint. Emphasis will be put on experimenting with aquatint-etching, transfer techniques and different approaches for multi-colour printing. After the technical review, the students will receive individual tutorials during the development of their works.
The course will be based on non-solvent acryl-based aquatint-etching and water-based printer's ink, supplied with the traditional materials.
