General communication

Goal: Make the students conscious of the organisation`s general communication. That is, how the outside world is making up its opinion of an organisation. This opinion is of course made through a complicated interaction between various elements. The intention is to reflect on this interaction, especially to discuss design and its role in the organisation`s overall communication.

Academic content: The course will deal with the following main subjects:
1. The organisation`s overall communication
2. All elements of communication (including design)
3. Symbolic communication
4. Reputation

15 hours seminar:
