Who makes you laugh and cry – Why?
Come backstage, and into the workshop. There will be a lot of drawing and building.
Create your own main character, your hero or anti-hero.
The story will develop later.
Goals: Based on various methods for idea development, both analogue and digital, students will be able to create a visual character and place it in a context.
Content: Through lectures and practical assignments, the course will give basic introduction to illustration and the making of a character. The assignments are to be solved using several materials and techniques – manual and digital.
During the first week, and inspired by different materials and tools, the students will create various figures, large and small, in 2D or 3D, analogue or digital.
Basic course in Photoshop is offered.
Method: Lectures on several methods for idea development. They will constantly influence the development of your character.
