Independent project – Ceramics
Early in the project period, the students will develop their own artistic project. The problem statement for the project is to be developed uniquely for this period. The project description will initially be discussed within the group and with the course administrator. The purpose is to give constructive feedback to the students’ plans and ideas for the period. There will be several partial reviews throughout the course. The period is first and foremost for 2nd year Ceramics students but other students can also participate.
For the past few years the results from the project period have been displayed in exhibition halls. The participants cooperate on installing the exhibition.
The students develop an independent project during this period. They must present a short, written project description during the first week. Each project will be discussed in the group.
