Internship in a design company

Working in a design company is a great change from student life. Other assignments, short deadlines, other ways of working, meetings with clients etc. You will learn in real life how to work as a designer. After the internship period, many become more aware of what they want to be working with towards the exam; and maybe proceed to the MA.

Workform:

Goal: Gain insight into how a design company works, with various design processes. Get experience with both internal cooperation and working with clients and subcontractors. Experience how to be a part of a professional work environment.

Content: The internship can be in different fields of visual communication, e.g. TV and film graphics, newspaper, graphic design, illustration, game design, commercial production, etc.

It is recommended that you contact the preferred design company as soon as possible, as the internship must be agreed on within 22 October, and Kate Madsen and the contact person at the design company must be notified. The students are preparing a speech about their internship to be given to the 2nd and 3rd year students at the first lecture day.

Prequalifications:

Working on assigned tasks and according to the design company's routines.

The course starts 10/01/2011 / Week 02, and ends 28/01/2011 / Week 04
