Invisible Violence - VIDEO WORKSHOP
The INVISIBLE VIOLENCE is not much recognizable. Often it thrives in the environments that supposedly should embrace us; can be hidden in unsuspicious attitudes or creep in the historic, cultural and political contingency. The INVISIBLE VIOLENCE is present in a private, public, social context. We are shaped and we do Invisible Violence. It appears in personal, familiar or intimate contexts. Abstract and ideological ideas and belief, bad faith, hypocrisy, repression, rejection, lack of empathy or lack of love - can be motivations for invisible violence. In group work you should find and develop an idea of how to investigate on that issue.
This is a two week video workshop together with MIB (Mediaverkstedet Bergen).
In the first week we learn to write a pitch, a synopsis and a screenplay. This week is meant to develop and prepare your idea. The following week (including the weekend) we work with MIB. You will get an introduction for High Definition filming. You will film for 3 days and after that you will learn to work with the FINAL CUT editing program. In the end you should have a short film (max. 10.min) as a result on DVD.
