Nr. 2 Kurs bærende konstruksjoner 1.BA

Knowledge about and understanding of basic construction principles is the basis for architecture, interior architecture and furniture and component design.

The students are introduced to simple, constructive principles and should gain an understanding of how to make use of the material’s qualities in construction work. By minimizing material use, we will see that the relation between function and material use can give a logical expression of form. Basic construction principles, hands-on project work.


Workform:

Individual and group work.
Constructive principles. Assignments, building models. Tutoring. Review in the Project room, Marken 37. Students are supposed to document their work through pictures and text, and this will be part of the portfolio by term review. Students evaluate the course at KHiB's website after review.
