Motion Graphics BA2
Motion graphics can be described as animated design and illustration, combined with music and sound effects on the screen. Motion graphics is everywhere where there is a screen. This is a rather new subject area, continously developing along with the technological development.
Goal: The students will acquire experience in how design and illustration concepts can be set in motion on the screen. Through a meeting with a client, the students will learn how to express the identity of a company using motion graphics. Also, introduction and training in the Adobe After Effects software.
Content: During this course, the students will make an animated film using various techniques presented in the course. During the course, you will be guided through the process from the meeting with the client to idea and complete product. We will be focusing on setting illustrations in motion, related to sound and music, and dramatising this in a story.
Method: Meeting with the client, idea, storyboard, production, presentation.
