Introductory workshop and project period focusing on technical possibilities in the interaction between graphical printing methods and a ceramic medium. Emphasis on issues within 2 and 3 dimensional expression, and combinations and connections between these expressions.

During a two-week workshop, Paul Scott (UK) will be demonstrating different approaches to printing in ceramics and graphics, and will form the basis for individual experimental working and project. Possible to be working with ready-mades (tiles/industrially manufactured objects) and individual works in clay.

This course is mandatory for BAK1 students.


Workform:

Workshop, demonstrations, lectures, individual work combined with lecturing and tutorials. Reviews in class with presentation of projects.
