Qualitative methods
Goal: The course will give an introduction to basic market analysis. How do we get sufficient knowledge about our users to be able to make the right decisions? The course`s main intention is to reflect on how we work on a problem and choose a rational research design. We will emphasize different qualitative techniques.
Academic content: The course will concentrate on the following main areas:
1. Diagnosis of problems
2. Choice of research design
3. Different types of qualitative techniques; interview, focus group, observation and projective techniques
4. Field work
5. Analysing and interpretation of data
6. Reporting
