Video editing
We are used to relating to stories presented to us using a series of pictures in films and on TV. We rarely think about how and why the clips in the film are combined the way they are. This course will make you aware of the techniques that are used to present a story through edited video sequences.
Goal: The students will learn about the techniques that are used to make good video clips. The students will also get an introduction to the editing program Final Cut.
Content: Together with the tutor, the students will be working on video material regarding sound, rhythm, point of look and motion.
Method: Step by step introduction to Final Cut. Testing various cutting techniques and experimenting with video material.
