Daily 10.00 – 15.00
3rd floor Akademiet, Computer Lab
Practical workshop offering students an opportunity to design and launch a personal artist website over the course of one week. Topics will include preparing files for the web, working with layout, creating image galleries, and building a maintainable website using Indexhibit and CSS.
We will also discuss the effects and functionality of different strategies used by artist websites currently on the net. Students should bring a list of websites that they personally gravitate towards.
Students are also asked to bring their own laptop if possible, and a selection of digital images that they would like to include on their site. A working knowledge of Photoshop is required.
