Study contract with template for Individual academic plan;
The Study contract is divided into two parts. The first concerning rights and duties you have as a student at KHiB. The other is a template for making the Individual academic plan.

The Study plan connected to each Study programme;
The Study plan describes the objectives for the study programmes, work and study methods, structure, content, obligatory components, evaluation criteria and admission requirements.

Examination Procedure

This document gives the framework for all exams at KHiB. Here you will find regulations for candidates, examiners and censorship.

Diploma Supplement

All students that are completing a degree at Bergen National Academy of the Arts will automatically get a Diploma Supplemet (DS) in English free of charge, explaining the content of the degree. The DS will also have an overview over the Norwegian education system. Diploma Supplement is being issued in a widely spoken European language, given automatically and free of charge to every student upon graduation. Here you can find examples of Diploma Supplement.

How to use the Course calendar
Here you will find guidelines for the electronic Academic calendar. All students are required to sign up for the projects they have agreed together with the main tutor to participate in.

Safety instruction
Bergen National Academy of the Arts has a strong focus on safety and has given safety training of all students’ high priority. All students must have a safety course before they are allowed to work in the workshops. All students must also undertake an obligatory course in fire prevention at semester start.

Excursions
Bergen National Academy has also safety regulations for excursions which means that all students has to fill in a certain form and give to the departmental executive officer before the excursion take place.
